This Privacy Policy describes how HTML Reader Offline ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We respect your privacy and have designed this App to operate entirely on your device.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App does not require an account, does not contain analytics SDKs, does not contain advertising SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

2. Files You Import

When you import an HTML or ZIP file into HTML Reader Offline, the file is copied into the App's private sandbox on your device. These files:

Are stored locally on your device only.
Are never uploaded to any server.
Can be deleted at any time from within the App.

3. Reading Progress & Bookmarks

Reading progress, bookmarks, and app preferences are saved in the App's local sandbox. They are not synced to iCloud or any third-party service in this version.

4. Photo Library

If you choose to save an exported long image to your photo library, the App requests "Add to Photos" permission. The App only writes the image you explicitly export; it does not read or list any other photos.

5. In-App Purchases (Tip Jar)

HTML Reader Offline offers an optional Tip Jar with consumable In-App Purchases as a way to voluntarily support the developer. These purchases:

Are processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We never see your payment information.
Do not unlock any feature or content — every feature in HTML Reader Offline is free.
Are recorded locally only as a thank-you counter; no purchase information is sent to us.

6. Network Access

HTML Reader Offline works fully offline for reading imported documents. The App may make network requests only in the following limited cases:

To Apple's StoreKit servers, when you open the Tip Jar (to fetch product prices) or make a purchase.
If an HTML document you imported references external resources (e.g. images, fonts), your device's WebView may load them. This is a function of the document, not of HTML Reader Offline itself.

7. Children's Privacy

HTML Reader Offline does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and contains no user-generated content, no chat, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

8. Third-Party Services

HTML Reader Offline does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs. The only third-party service in use is Apple's StoreKit, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policies.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

Because no data leaves your device, deleting the App will permanently remove all data associated with it (imported files, reading progress, bookmarks, settings). You can also delete individual documents from within the App at any time.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
